PKB1100/1110 Pluggable Printed Circuit Screw-Cage Clamp  Connection Plugs
Conta-Clip’s Screw-Cage Clamp PC Board Terminal Block Plugs are offered in single mold constructions for maximum mechanical strength. Conta-Clip’s Screw-Cage Clamp Plugs feature a rising cage that lifts the conductor until direct contact is made with the pin. The evenly distributed force developed by the cage compresses the conductor against the contact pin ensuring a highly efficient electrical connection while protecting the wire strands against fraying and breakage. Fine, lateral serrations formed into the contact pin develop high pullout resistance, further securing the connection. The plug’s precision formed, dual beam contacts made from a special copper alloy ensure a highly efficient connection with the Shrouded Header pins even after repeated plug insertions and removals. All Screw-Cage Clamp Plugs include provisions for keying inserts. When adjacent headers are keyed in combination with their respective plugs, the inserts prevent mismatching of the plugs and headers without loss of pole position. Because keying of plug and header pairs block accidental mis-mating of similar plugs, sensitive electronic circuits arc protected from possible electrical damage.
