Conta-Clip's Connector-to Wire Interfaces provide an efficient and reliable method for transitioning electronic control and data cables to discrete wires. They consist of PC Board Terminal Blocks and popular, industry standard electronic connectors which are installed onto specially designed circuit boards. The assembled circuit board is placed into a card holder base that conveniently snaps onto standard DIN Rail commonly used for mounting control components in industrial and automation applications. Conta-Clip's Type SD, Sub-D Interfaces are offered in both female (socket) and male (pin) versions in 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50 pole configurations. They are equipped with UNC 4-40 threaded jack screws to ensure a secure cable connection. Conta-Clip's Type FBK, Ribbon Cable Interfaces are outfitted with 10 to 64 pole IDC Connectors. Short ejector latches, intended for mating plugs without strain relief, are standard. Long ejector latches are optional. All Conta-Clip Interfaces feature Dual Level Screw-Cage Clamp PC Board Terminal Blocks which provide gas-tight, vibration resistant terminations for discrete wire up to 12AWG. Because high density PC Terminals are used, it is possible to supply compact modules that occupy a limited amount of space. To minimize wiring errors and to speed installation, each terminal block pole is clearly identified with permanent marking labels which correspond to the numbered connector pins. A series of component mounting holes and solder pads in each trace allow LED's, dropping resistors etc., to be added to individual circuits. |
