To meet the most stringent requirements for corrosion proofing, chemical resistance and durability, Rose+Bopla offers a complete range of Ex housing in stainless steel. These housings feature precise edging and clean, polished welded seams. Lid tops are evenly polished and seal to the base with a chemically resistant silicone seal. Lid screws are secured to closed threaded sleeves in the base.
To meet approvals, our stainless steel watertight safety housings may be fitted with Ex certified terminals by Rose+Bopla. Exe versions (35) series are fitted with terminals of nominal voltage up to 726V and Exi versions (36) series are usually fitted with blue intrinsically safe terminals. Exu versions (34) series are sold as empty enclosures with a Certificate of Compliance (C of C) on the enclosure.
Each stainless steel Ex enclosure consists of a lid and base, captive stainless steel lid screws, foamed-in-place silicone gasket, and external ground. Internal grounding strips must be specified separately. Allen head lid screws are available as an option.

Note: Dimensions are external. Metric is the primary dimension. Inch conversions and weights are for the user’s convenience and are for reference only. *Change prefix to 35 for Exe Version, or 36 for Exi version. For example: 34101006 would become 35101006.
