Since 1983Electro-Stock,
Inc., formerly CS Technical Sales, Inc., an Illinois Corporation,
celebrating our 27th year,
has been in business since August 16, 1983. Dennis Chadra and Glenn
Schilke initially started the business under the name of
Chadra-Schilke & Associates, Inc. As a manufacturers representative
firm for several manufacturers of electronic components & controls
we sold to an exclusive territory on a commission basis. The
contracted territory covered northern Illinois and eastern Wisconsin
in which we sold to the OEM market.
On our 10th anniversary in August of 1993 we started a distribution
division. Selling under the name “doing business as” CST
Electro-Stock. We stocked and sold electronic components and
controls which complemented but did not compete or conflict with the
lines represented.
We ceased our manufacturer’s representative activities in late fall
of 1996 allowing us to direct all of our resources into the
distribution business selling nationally. In order to separate
totally from the representative business we once again changed our
d/b/a name to Electro-Stock, Inc.
On August 16, 1997 Dennis Chadra accumulated 100% of the shares of
the Corporation and Glen Schilke left the company. Russell Chadra
was appointed Vice President and at the annual board meeting a
Resolution to amend the Articles of Incorporation changing the name
to Electro-Stock, Inc. was adopted and submitted to the State of
Illinois.
We maintain the policy of keeping the lines as compatible as
possible for maximum account penetration. Our mix of custom and off
the shelf products gives us a lot of flexibility in offerings.
